About AIClue

AIClue is a local file finding and organizing tool for Windows.

AIClue does not replace File Explorer. It helps people search filenames, locations, and readable document content inside folders they explicitly add, then judge results through matching snippets, filters, and previews.

Product role

Start from the clue you remember, not only a complete filename.

AIClue is for Windows users whose files remain spread across folders and require repeated search and confirmation. It complements everyday File Explorer operations rather than replacing the system file manager.

  • Search filenames and locations, readable document content, or all three together
  • Confirm results with file locations, matching snippets, filters, and available previews
  • View related files from different folders in a project workspace without changing source locations

Basic workflow

Choose a scope, enter a clue, and confirm the file.

AIClue does not scan the whole computer by default. Add folders you want to manage, allow file information and readable content processing to finish, then search from the Workbench.

  1. Step 01

Add folders you need to search

Start with Documents, Desktop, or project material and keep unrelated locations outside the managed scope.

  2. Step 02

Search by name, location, or content

Choose Filename, Content, or Smart Search from the clue you have, then narrow by directory, type, or tag.

  3. Step 03

    Review evidence before opening

Use the file location, matching snippet, and available preview to judge the result, then open the source file with its default app.

Local data and network boundaries

Completed locally in everyday use

  • Scanning, content reading, and regular search in added folders
  • Storage of file records, search data, filters, and workspace data
  • Search, preview, and project workspaces do not automatically move or modify source files

These functions may use the network

  • Downloading the app or checking and installing updates
  • Account sign-in, registration, and access synchronization
  • Opening the official website, GitHub, or another clearly identified external link
