A stated data boundary
Adding a folder or running a local search does not automatically upload file content.
File scanning, content reading, and regular search are completed on your computer. Account sign-in, access synchronization, update checks, and update installation are separate network functions.
- File names, paths, types, and processed text used for search are stored locally
- Adding a folder does not move source files into the app or modify them
- Core file management and search remain available locally without signing in
Create a local search scope
Add only the folders you need to search repeatedly.
AIClue does not scan the whole computer by default. Start with frequently used folders, let processing finish, then search filenames, content, or both.
