Beyond filename matching

Content search turns “what it said” into a file-finding clue.

AIClue provides Filename, Content, and Smart Search. Filename searches filenames and locations without searching file content. Smart Search suits everyday use; choose Content when document text is your only clue.

  • Common documents and text files can join content search after their text is read successfully
  • Results can show text around a match so you can judge relevance
  • Directory and tag filters can narrow the current search scope

Before searching

Prepare the scope, then enter what you remember.

AIClue does not scan the whole computer by default. Choose the folders you want to manage, wait for content processing, then search from the Workbench.

    Add the folders you use

    Start with Documents, Desktop, or a project folder. Adding a directory does not move, rename, or modify source files.

  2. Step 02

    Choose Content or Smart Search

    Use Content when text is your main clue. Use Smart Search when filenames, locations, or content may match.

  3. Step 03

    Confirm from evidence

    Review the file location, matching text snippet, and available preview before opening a result.

Where file content search fits
