Chapter 8 Workbench and Function Cards

This chapter only explains how to enable, disable, adjust, and remove function cards in the Workbench. The specific features of each card are not explained here.

8.1 Relationship Between Workbench and Plugin Market

The Workbench is the main entry for everyday use. When there are no search or filter conditions, the Workbench shows enabled function cards.

The Plugin Market manages which cards appear in the Workbench:

• After you enable a card in the Plugin Market, the card appears in the Workbench
• After you disable a card in the Plugin Market, the card is removed from the Workbench
• After you remove a card from the Workbench, you can enable it again later from the Plugin Market

If no cards are currently enabled in the Workbench, an add-card entry is shown. Clicking it opens the Plugin Market.

8.2 Enter the Plugin Market

Click Plugin Market in the left sidebar to view available function cards.

Cards in the Plugin Market usually show:

• Card name
• Whether it is currently available
• Whether it is currently enabled
• Supported system or availability prompt

If a card is shown as unavailable, locked, or unsupported on the current system, it cannot be enabled in the current environment. The specific reason may relate to system, account state, or feature access.

8.3 Enable or Disable Cards

Each available card in the Plugin Market has an enable switch.

Card enabled state is saved on this computer. The next time AIClue opens, the Workbench tries to restore the cards you previously enabled.

8.4 Adjust Workbench Cards

After returning to the Workbench, you can adjust the position and size of enabled cards.

Common operations include:

• Drag a card to adjust its position
• Drag a card edge or corner to resize it
• Use the card menu in the upper-right corner to lock the card and avoid accidental movement
• Unlock the card to move and resize it again

Card layout is saved automatically. The next time you enter the Workbench, AIClue tries to restore the previous layout.

8.5 Remove a Card

If you no longer need a card, remove it from the Workbench.

Steps:

1. Find the card in the Workbench
2. Click the card’s more button in the upper-right corner
3. Choose Remove Card
4. Confirm in the confirmation prompt

Removing a card only makes it disappear from the Workbench. It does not delete your files and does not affect other cards. You can enable it again later from the Plugin Market.

8.6 Card Menu

Some cards provide more operations in the upper-right corner. Menus may differ between cards. Common operations include:

8.7 Card Feature Notes

This chapter only explains how to manage function cards in the Workbench. It does not describe the specific feature of each card.

Different cards may work differently. If a later version provides separate instructions in the Plugin Market, card menu, or card page, use the instructions shown in that corresponding entry.

8.8 When a Feature Is Unavailable

If the Workbench or Plugin Market shows a feature as unavailable, possible reasons include:

• The current account or trial state does not support the feature
• A card requires additional feature access
• A card does not support the current operating system
• Local authorization state failed to load, and you may need to restart the app
